DESCRIPTION:Join us for this first edition of Communities Taking Climate Action!\n\n\nWith a growing community of over 1\,500 changemakers and climate champions from across Canada\, we are celebrating the first year and a half of Community Climate Transitions\, including the 10-month learning journey that 19 trailblazing communities embarked on. \nYou’ll have a chance to hear from inspirational speakers and connect with peers around the themes of advancing a local climate transition through a whole-community approach that makes space for everyone\, centering equity and justice in climate work\, and leading with hope and care. \nOver the two days you will have an opportunity to take part in over 5 hours of specially curated workshops and masterclasses\, meet other community climate movers and shakers\, experience coaching opportunities\, access learning resources and much more! \nYou can register here! \nThis event will take place in English\, with French simultaneous translation available for plenary activities.

Workshop presenters are writers of Beyond High School\, including: \n\nRobert Martellacci\, CEO of MindShare Learning and MindShare Workspace\,\nMary Nanavati\, a recognized educator\, certified professional coach and co-founder of FlourishCo\, and\n\nNamita Parmar\, a local secondary school guidance teacher.\n\n\n\nOne free manual per family.
