DESCRIPTION:Join us on January 25\, 2023 at 1:00pm ET/10:00am PT for the session Open Streets\, Open Communities: Reclaiming Streets for People. In this session hosted by Jiya Benni from 880 Cities\, we will explore how the shift toward pedestrian and cyclist oriented streets space can contribute to the improved livelihood of cities and the wellbeing of individuals. Together with Jiya\, we will hear from practitioners about their experiences with such projects – their effects on active living and mobility\, and the challenges that come with implementation and community engagement. Bring your experiences and questions to join us in the discussion! \nThe session will take place in English with simultaneous interpretation in French. \nWe hope you can join us.
