Le Canada a déjà joué un rôle de premier plan, se classant régulièrement en tête des listes de villes mondiales en termes d'habitabilité et de dynamisme, mais pour tenir notre rang, nous devons faire preuve d'un leadership audacieux et d'une vision claire, ce que le discours politique d'aujourd'hui rend difficile. Notre communauté de bâtisseurs de villes est très diversifiée, avec des professionnels de l'urbanisme et de la conception très accomplis, des secteurs de développement immobilier à but lucratif et non lucratif, des chefs d'entreprise et des investisseurs institutionnels, des universitaires rigoureux qui évaluent les progrès (ou non), et des praticiens communautaires qui travaillent sur tous les aspects de la résilience urbaine.
