How Can Community Leaders Create Healthy Cities?

This 90-minute session explores what makes a healthy city and how community leaders can help create them. Drawing on examples of projects from their own leadership and microgrant program, the Ontario Community Changemakers, 8 80 Cities presents the ways that community leaders can have big impacts with seemingly “small” projects and share their asset-based approach on creating healthy cities.
The session includes a panel discussion with an Ontario Community Changemaker and HCI-funded initiatives sharing their stories, reflections, and learnings on what it takes to co-create healthy cities.
