How to design equitable digital solutions with Black and other equity-seeking communities

Black communities have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 exposing the inequities of anti-Black systemic racism in Canada. While digital solutions can help communities to stay connected and create safe spaces that foster a sense of belonging, ensuring that these solutions are created equitably is important to avoid replicating existing gaps and exacerbating the impact of the pandemic. Learn how Black communities are using technology such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and access to WIFI to create equitable digital solutions that improve mental health, reduce isolation, and increase physical activity.
