Park People is excited to announce the InTO the Ravines Grants opportunity. In partnership with the City of Toronto, InTO the Ravines $2,500 microgrants will help communities host two simple, creative and engaging environmentally-focused events in their local Toronto ravine from June 1 to November 1, 2023. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 12, 2023.

To ensure communities connect to, celebrate and champion Toronto’s one-of-a-kind ravine system with simple creative and engaging environmentally-focused events, InTO the Ravines will provide $2,500 grants to 13 groups.

• What: $2,500 InTO the Ravines grants to help recipients host two simple environmentally-focused events either in person or online: image sketching, bird watching, scavenger hunts, and Indigenous knowledge sharing about the ravines.
• Who: Community-led/grassroots groups such as park friends groups, community associations, neighbourhood groups, and Black, Indigenous and People of Color-led (BIPOC-led) groups.
• When: 2023 grant recipients will be announced in May. All events will take place between June 1 and November 1, 2023.
