Fireweed Food Co-op operates the South Osborne Farmers’ Market (est. 2016) which runs every Wednesday at 4-8 pm from mid-June to late September. All our vendors are local and sell only Manitoba-grown, spray-free food products, and try to reduce packaging waste as much as possible. Our market is also more than a place of commerce — it is a thriving community space featuring local beer and cider, live music, a kids craft tent, and throughout the season playing host to various grassroots organizing initiatives and events related to local food and food issues.
