Sparking Change Toronto Microgrants – Applications Due April 12, 2023

Park People’s Sparking Change Toronto microgrants offers $2,500 to spark a change in your park!

The Sparking Change Toronto microgrant program supports new and active BIPOC-led and equity-deserving groups that want to make a difference in their parks.

Apply now to receive funding for events that connect people to each other and the rest of nature.

  • What: $2,500 to host an outdoor activity, or series of activities in your local park or green space from May 29 to November 30, 2023.
  • Who:
    • Active or newly formed BIPOC-led resident groups, equity-deserving groups, grassroots community groups or non-profits, community associations, and local community agencies.
    • Groups that are new to hosting events should schedule a call with Ayesha at sparkingchange@parkpeople.ca
  • When: The 2023 application period runs from Wednesday, March 8, to Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Submissions are due Wednesday, April 12 at 11:59 PM EST.
